Trichy: A nine-year-old boy saved his cousin from Manaption near Tamil Nadu on Wednesday night.
The Boy C Logith, from Thulukkampatti near Manaption, playing when he saw his aunt, use, 29, and his eight-year-old daughter, B Lithika, struggled to live their lives in the well.
He jumped into the well and saved Lithika.
He tried his best to save use, but he sank.
Pastor Logith P Chandrasekar, an employee of the Post Department, said on Thursday that his son had learned to swim at the same month ago.
“He was at his grandparents’ grandfather’s house during Kuncian.
I took him to our house to attend the wedding last month when he asked him to teach him to swim.
I taught him well owned by me for irrigation purposes,” Chandrasekar said told toi.
Chandrasekar said to be involved in several jobs in the field in the area.
His children, logit and the other three in the area played there.
Guna, who did not know swimming, decided to step into the well to teach swimming to others.
“When they walked on the bundwell, Lithika sneaked into the well to hold her mother’s hand.
My child knew that they both didn’t know swimming.
He jumped into the well.
Logit managed to pull the girl to the stairs and tried to save use.
But he sank,” said Chandrasek.
Local people take the body’s body from the well.
Vaiyampatti police registered a case.
