TN Civic Polls: Training is held for micro observers

Chennai: Towards the local agency poll February 19, The Greater Chennai Corporation has appointed micro observer to 1,139 vulnerable and critical polling stations.
Micro observer will check whether voting starts at the right time, if EVM is properly sealed and if all the other selection norms are observed.
If there is a deviation, these officials will report to the official election officials.
Bank officials are usually appointed as micro observers at a critical polling station.
On Saturday, corporate commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi conducted training for 334 micro observers.
There are 5,794 voting stations in the city.
All stations will have a CCTV camera, and direct feed will be sent to the control room.
The form of postal voting from micro observer is distributed on Saturday.
So far, more than 14,000 postal polling forms have been sent.
A total of 28,000 staff members will be deployed for polls tasks.
The note (no one above) the option will not be available at EVM this time.
