Coimbatore: Nilgiris District Police has registered a case in the Indian Air Force Chopper accident that claimed 13 lives, including the Head of the Chief of Staff of the General Bipin Defense and his wife.
The IAF MI-17V5 helicopter carrying 14 people crashed into Kattery near the coonor on Wednesday.
Based on the administration officer of Coonor J Arul Rathna Village, the top coonor police on Thursday registered a case below the part 174 CRPC.
In his complaint, Rathna stated that he rushed to the place in Nanjappachathiram after receiving information.
He found a burning helicopter.
He also found several bodies.
