Coimbatore: Officials Directorate of Precautions and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) began searching for former Minister of Tamil Nadu S and 51 other places in Coimbatore, Chennai, Kancheepuram and Dindigul on Tuesday morning.
The search is being conducted with respect to the graft case against it.
Officials also searched the former colleague near Minister AIDMK and contractors who had taken projects worth several crores rupees in Coimbatore and Chennai Municipal Corporations.
Searches are being held in 35 places in Coimbatore, 15 places in Chennai and one place in the Dindigul District and Kancheepuram.
In the Coimbatore district, the search was being made in Vadavalli, Thondamuthur, Madukkarai and several other places.
