TIRUVANNAMALAI: A seven year old boy that had epileptic fits was murdered by his mom and two aunts who believed he had been possessed by evil spirits, in a village at Tiruvannamalai district on Monday, authorities said.
K Thilagavathi, 30, of K V Kuppam at Vellore district, along with also her sisters K Bakialakshmi, 29, along with K Kavitha, 28, attained Kannamangalam on Sunday night along with her son Sabari, whom they desired to have’treated’ with a Muslim godman in Vandavasi at Tiruvannamalai district.
They spent the night before the panchayat union complicated once the boy created epileptic fits around 2am.
Authorities said the girls believed he had been under the spell of wicked spirits and tried to’restrain’ him with force.
Thilagavathi pulled his tongue as a sister left his throat and another stood on his belly.
A couple of folks who spent the night before the complicated alerted the authorities.
The girls killed the boy until the police arrived.
When they understood that the boy had expired, the three turned each other.
The Kannamanglam authorities arrested them.
“We guess that the 3 girls are emotionally unstable.
There are a number of unexplained deaths within their loved ones, such as that of the mother three days past.
Thilagavathy’s husband died two or three years back.
You will find ordinary deaths within their household in the past couple of decades.
We’ve detained the 3 girls and started a thorough analysis,” explained Kannamangalam sub inspector C Vijayakumar.
