Chennai: fishermen hooked panic when they found a gunny bag containing mid-sea white powder.
According to the police, Kumar from Periyakuppam in Kalpakkam along with three others entered the waters for fishing near Thirukazhikundrram.
They are fishing in the medium sea when the bag is stuck in their fishing net.
Assuming it is a big catch, they pull the net just to find a bag.
The fishermen loaded the bag on board and found that it was full of white powder packed in polythene cover.
They took the bag to the beach and told the official.
When getting information, coastal security guards reach that place and weigh white.
White powder which weighs 20 kg and is thought to be banned from narcotics sent to forensic laboratories for testing.
According to officials, someone must throw a scary bag check.
