TN gets 2 months to clean Chitlapakkam Lake Courier

Chennai: Take steps to expel 403 parties that penetrate Lake Chitlapakkam, Madras High Court has told the Government of Tamil Nadu.
“The state must take appropriate action in accordance with the law under the protection of Tamil Nadu from the tank and the eviction of encroachment law, 2007, for notifications for the felt ranking,” the first bench Head of Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy said on Wednesday.
The problem is related to the Writ Petition of the Public Interest submitted by the anti-corruption of the Arappor NGO Iakkam to eliminate encroachment in Lake Chitlapakkam in terms of Tambaram and Pallavaram, along with ending the waste disposal to the lake.
