Coimbatore: A 10-year-old girl died after her scarf was caught on a bicycle wheel where she drove a Pillion on Friday night Friday night.
The police said the girl’s head was cut off in the incident.
Annur police said S Dharshana from Vadakkalur near Annur was a class of V.
The girl went down with a fever for several days.
“On Friday, his mother Vasanthi took him to a government hospital on a motorcycle (with) their neighbors V Vignesh.
While returning home, one end of the girl’s shawl was caught on the rear wheel.
Because the shawl was closed tight neck, his head was cut off,” said an officer.
The body was sent to the METTUPALAYAM government hospital for postmortem.
The police registered a case against Vignesh, who rode a bicycle.
