Chennai: A total of 102 arts and science colleges in the state will get 2,331 assistant professors before the beginning of the next academic year (2022-23).
Recruitment notifications issued in 2019 and more than 42,000 candidates have submitted a pole assistant professor.
Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) has completed the first level certificate verification for 50% of the subject and is expected to complete verification for the remaining subjects immediately.
“Boards will release candidate ratings based on verification of level one certificate and call candidates in the ratio of 1: 3 to verify and interview the next level certificate.
All the selection process will take place before issuing notifications for new vacancies in July,” officials from TRB said.
In the annual recruitment planner for 2022, the TRB announced that new notifications to fill 1,334 assistant professors vacancies in the arts and science colleges will be issued in July.
At first level, the board will verify the document claims made by applicants.
Candidates will be given value for experience only after the date of reaching the required qualifications.
In level two certificate verification, the board will verify the documents uploaded with the original document.
“Of the 73 subjects, the board has completed the certificate verification for 38 subjects.
Certificate verification for the remaining subjects will begin immediately,” Officially added.
T Veeramani, President of the Tamil Nadu Nadu Government Association (TNGCTA), said that the government college has more than 4,000 vacancies.
“2,331 Assistant Assistant Assistant Professor will help students from rural areas to get the teacher’s subject,” he said.
Furthermore, the TRB plans to introduce a flying team during the PG teacher recruitment test is scheduled to be held from February 12 to 20.
District collectors will lead the district level committee to conduct recruitment tests.
More than 2.6 Lakh candidates will appear for the exam.
