TN launched a ‘minority list’ for MBBS receipts

Chennai: First, Tamil Nadu has released the ‘list of religious minority rankings’ to enter MBBS to three medical high school Christian self-financial financing – Christian Medical College, Madha Medical College and Panimalar Medical College.
Register, now available on the State Selection Committee website, will be updated based on fresh applications from Tamil Nadu students on Friday, said Secretary of the Selection Committee Dr.
P Vasanthamani.
The Committee has told the management of minority institutions that acceptance of up to 35% -50% of the seats they have experienced will be based on the score of the NEET and 69% reservation.
“For the remaining 50% -65% of seats in this minority institution, the selection committee will first recognize students from their respective minority rankings before accommodating students from the public swimming pool,” Vasanthamani said.
The committee decided to make this obliged after finding that several universities never brought candidates from a minority pool for several years, while some others determined the number of minority students they could take.
Of the 17 self-financing colleges under Tamil Nadu Dr.
Mgr Medical University, nine are minority colleges.
They shared 35% -50% of seats to a collection of state achievements, compared with 50% non-minority institutions.
There are five Telugu minority institutions, one Malayalam minority institution and three Christian minority institutions in TN.
In 2020-21, only five colleges gave up the chair to the country to enter through achievements.
Whereas to enter CMC Vellore, Vasanthamani said that until now almost 85% of seats were filled with the selection committee based on a minority ranking list prepared by universities.
For 2021 acceptance, a ranking list for 70% of students will be withdrawn from the list of Christian minorities prepared by the Tamil Nadu government, he said.

Meanwhile, the state government has sent NMC communication which states costs for 50% of seats in private medical institutions and universities which are considered to be equivalent to the Government Medical College for the Election Committee and Fixation Committee Cost.
“We are waiting for further clarification for implementation,” said Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan.
“There are challenges on both sides.
For example, if we implement it, this must allow students to admit in the first round to increase the seat,” he said.
The selection committee also said that it was still unclear about the acceptance to Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, which was under the Ambit Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Sole Private Medical University in Tamil Nadu.
“The case of the costs set by universities is still delayed in front of the court.
We are waiting for orders,” the secretary said.
