Chennai: Two more advocate associations from Tamil Nadu on Sunday called the Supreme Court colleague to remember the September 16 recommendations to move the main justice of Madras High Court, Justice Sanjib Banerjee, to Meghalaya High Court.
The association said the main judge must have a two-year period at least a large high court such as Madras High Court to enable them to make a useful contribution to the improvement and development of the institution.
While the Madras Bar Association (MBA) and the Association of Advocates of the High Court of Madras (MAA) have sent representations of urging the APEX court to reconsider the transfer, some senior advocates appointed from the High Court expressed their concerns and sadness over the transfer of the Justice of Sanijb their bannerjee through a separate representation.
“With the nature of unavoidable complexity which is an institution such as a high court in India, it takes at least one year for CJ, after assuming costs as judicial heads, to understand the administration, composition, and challenges of the institution, in addition to understanding practice, culture, and Local language, “said senior lawyers in their representatives.

Constant transfer and posting has left Madras High Court in a state of constant flux of a bad body for the health of the institution and delivery system justice,” said the representation.
The MBA, in the resolution passed at the emergency general body meeting on Sunday, has also asked the Government Government to send recommendations back to the colleagium for new consideration.
The MBA also recorded his concern over the transfer of Justice S Sivagnanam to the Calcuta High Court.
Mhaa said it was depressed on the transfer proposal.
“It is necessary to show that in the past three years, we have three main judges with acting interference that intervenes in the leadership of affairs,” the association said.
