CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government can expand the Covid-19 lockdown for an additional week at the state together with additional relaxation of constraints in districts with reduced caseload.
Chief Union M K Stalin can create a statement on Sunday morning.
Stalin held a meeting with medical officials and experts to assess the problem on Saturday.
“Lockdown is going to soon be long for a week because the government is worried about particular districts clocking hardness rate of 10 percent or even more.
