Chennai: The police on Sunday caught a man and three of his friends to commit suicide from his broker and criminal intimidation.
The police said four kidnapped the victim and harassed it, after that he hung himself.
The police identified the deceased as Manju, 20, from Madhavaram.
The main defendant, Karthik, 20 Colathur, married to a manner sister.
The police said that on August 4, Padauhan and Karthik fought over his drinking habits and he went to the mother’s house with their child.
Karthik goes with a friend and threatens to kill Manju if it doesn’t return home.
Said it refused to budge.
“He then combined Manju into the car in the knifepoint, took him to his house and tortured him,” said a police officer quoting complaints by Manju’s family.
When Karthik stepped out of his house, Manju hung himself.
His kin who came looking for him found him hanging and told Kolathur police.
Karthik, Sanjeev, 19, Yashwanth, 23, and Dhinova, 23, were arrested and had been returned in court detention.
