MADURAI: A man from Gujiliamarai in the Dindigul district has received an electric connection for his twenty years after applying it because his financial situation makes it difficult to make a sustainable visit to the EB office.
The petition to Dindigul District Collector S visible finally resolved the problem.
P Muniappan, 60, from the village of Kotanatham, an agricultural cooler, has placed all its income to build a house in 2000 in the Patta land he has.
However, the problem began when he approached TNeb for a power connection.
“I just can’t get it and also can’t spend a lot of things to follow up because my income is a little around Rs 6,000 a month,” said Muniappan.
Three children including Indirani, who are now studying in class XII, Periyasamy in class IV and Periyammal in class III is the only concern.
Indiri that secured 401/500 on SSLC said he was sure he would get more signs in the examination if he had electricity at home.
Relatively Danabal said the girl sometimes came to her house to borrow her cellphone at night so she could learn to use a torch lamp in it.
Danabal accompanied Muniappan to the collector on Monday to hand over the petition to the collector at a complaint day meeting.
The S collector said he had learned that some disputes between Muniappan and his neighbors had caused a delay.
He asked officials to solve it, and the connection was instant.
“When I learned that the children’s education was affected, I asked the official to immediately finish it,” he said.
