Chennai: Arambakkam police on Monday held two class X students from Chengalpet in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old student, who squeezed the girls using intimate photographs he had taken.
The Premkumar body from the Otole was found buried in each village in Tiruvallur on Sunday after the villagers told the police about seeing hair and teeth that were put together in a quiet location.
The police said the investigation took them to two girls, who had paid the premkumar each for the past year after he threatened to publish their photos online.
He was friends with Instagram and initially realized they were involved with the same person.
Cannot handle Blackmailer pressure, the girls asked Ashok, another young man they had recently been friends with Instagram, to help them grab the Premkumar telephone and remove the photos.
Police said Ashok and his three friends from Red Hills used the girls to lure the Premkumar to Sholavaram Toll Plaza on Friday morning and kidnap him.
Later that night, Ashok and another friend took the Premkumar to Eechangadu where they suspected of killing and buried them.
“We have launched a hunt for Ashok.
Only after we caught it, we will know what really happened,” said an investigative officer.
The Premkumar body was handed over to his family on Monday after an autopsy at the Stanley Hospital in the government.
