Chennai: Three months after marrying his distant relatives, a man was kidnapped and killed by his wife’s family in Tirutter.
The family separates the couple quoting it into an incest relationship.
The victim, 25 years old A Renukutty from Thadoor Village in Tiruttani, works in a private company.
Rasukutty is having a relationship with N Keerthana, 21, from the area and marry her three months ago.
The Keerthana family was not happy with this and alleged that they were interrelated.
He was taken home by his father Nooraj.
Rasukutty made several attempts to live with his wife but be warned and sent back home.
Last month, he lost when he returned from work.
His family filed a police complaint.
With delayed actions, the family held a protest in front of the ASP office in Tiruttani.
The police found Rasukutty’s body with stab wounds beside the lake.
The initial investigation revealed that Rasukutty was killed by Nooraj, along with Bairavan, Chakravarthy and Venkatsan, all from Vyasarpadi.
The woman’s family did not want the couple to reunite because they would bring shame to their families.
