Chennai: The Department of Higher Education Tamil Nadu ordered universities, universities, universities that are considered, autonomous colleges and universities that finance themselves to do all classes in physical mode six days a week in the current semester with direct effects.
The Ministry of Higher Education postponed the semester exam until outside January 20 after a student protested offline mode checks and said universities still conducted classes in online mode.
Student organizations also want extra time to prepare offline mode tests.
In the circular education secretary, higher education D Karthikeyan, said, “In partial modifications to orders, all higher educational institutions under the Department of Higher Education, including universities and universities, must further function in offline mode at six days a week Strictly follow standard operating procedures.
“Circular also directs educational institutions to reschedule all the theory tests after January 20.
Further asks colleges that completes the syllabus in online mode to conduct revision classes in physical mode so students will understand and understand subjects in a much better way.
Institutions are also asked to conduct examinations of models before the semester exam and to provide course material.
It directs the Directorate of Technical Education and the Collegiate Education Directorate to order all universities under their control and the university functions with sanctioned strength among teaching and non-teaching staff.
Circular further asked the District College to ensure higher educational institutions follow these instructions.
