CHENNAI: A 65-year-old guy hanged himself to death together with his 2 brothers aged 35 and 30, then he created Covid-19 symptoms, at Tiruvallur district, authorities said.
The episode came to light on Thursday night.
The guy left behind a suicide note claiming that nobody had been responsible for his departure which he contributed their five penny property and a couple of valuables into some trust at the village.
The victims have been identified as Selvaraj, 65, an electrician, his brothers Hemalatha, both 35 and Shanthi, 30.
They had been residing in Avadi for over a couple of years.
Shortly after the departure of his wife and older daughter three decades back, Selvaraj arrived into Tiruvallur district.
Hemalatha was staying with her dad as she obtained her divorce lately.
Throughout lockdown, Selvaraj acquired illness and because it seemed symtomatic of Covid-19 they quarantined themselves remained inside.
Selvaraj didn’t go to hospital, so rather took medications in the home.
Because of its symptoms, the neighbors remained away from these.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night, among the neighbors got a filthy odor and alerted authorities that broke open the door and discovered that the trio hanging onto a very long run.
“The figures had been in a decomposed condition and we consider these to have expired three days back,” said an investigating officer.
Authorities who didn’t understand the reason for the death discovered that a suicide note left behind.
