CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu housing minister S Muthusamy on Sunday said that discussions are under way to constitute flying squads in Chennai Metropolitan Area to check buildings to ensure that they are constructed as per approved plan and violations are curtailed at the construction stage itself.
Currently, CMDA officials visit sites mostly during last stage to issue building completion certificates.
