VIUDHUNAGAR: A female police strangled by her husband in Virudhunagar Tamil Nadu on Friday night following a domestic dispute.
Police Soaherarai arrested her husband.
The deceased has been identified as Banupriya, 30, who works at the West Virudhunagar Police Station.
He married Vignesh, 35, the TNSTC bus conductor, six years ago.
The couple had a four-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter.
The family lives in Kunakarai.
Agendai Inspector S Karthika said the couple had a fight for some problems.
Her husband wants to move to Madurai.
But Banupriya opposed it.
The couple argued on Friday night and Vignesh strangled him with a belt.
His body was taken and sent to the Medical College Virudhunagar Hospital.
The income division officer was conducting an investigation into the murder to check whether there was a dowry harassment because the couple had married less than seven years.
