Madurai: George Ponnaai, Pastor Parish from Kanyakumari who was ordered for his hatred’s speech to a number of high-ranking officials including the Prime Minister, was arrested by the police on Jalan Raya Madurai-Chennai in Othakadai on Saturday.
He was sent to Pallayamkottai Central Prison in Tirunelveli under Yudicial resistance for 15 days.
Overcoming the protest meeting at Arumanai on Sunday, George spoke badly at PM Narendra Modi, Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, Minister of DMK and “Mother India”.
With videos that will be viral on social media, BJP and Hindu clothes submitting complaints with various police stations demanding capture and detention under the National Security Law.
Kanyakumari’s kanakumari’s premeter V Badri Narayanan told Toi that they got a tip that he escaped from the car and shared vehicle details and possible locations with Madurai district police.
“He was arrested in an examination of vehicles targeted at Others in the Madurai district around 4am and was handed over to a special team from Kanyakumari in Kaligudi,” he added.
Previously on Tuesday, he was ordered under section 153a (promoting hostility between different groups with the basis of religion, race, etc.), 295A (intentional and dangerous actions intended to anger any class feelings by insulting religious or religious beliefs) and Other part of the Indian punishment code.

BJP has announced protests on July 28 demanding his arrest.
