His wife, who tried to help him, was also electrocuted and was in hospital treatment.
The Kaligudi police registered the case below Section 304 (II) IPC and then arrested the owner of the cathopheshy and his wife who installed the fence illegally.
On November 29, M Kagupasamy, a 19-year-old young man, died after a contact with an electric fence established in the farm in Sathagudi.
