Chennai: The National Disaster and State Response Team is ready to reach areas affected by the rain immediately, according to Tamil Nadu’s income and the Minister of Disaster Management.

In a statement, the minister said the state received 37% overflowing in the northeast until Tuesday.
Ariyalur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Pulajottai, Tirunelveli, Thiruvarur and Villupuram recorded 60% of excessive rainfall and 19 regencies of 20% of excessive rainfall.
Chengalpet, Chennai, Dharmapuri, Kancheepuram, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Salem, Tiruvalur and District of Virudhunagar register normal rainfall until Tuesday.
The state has received 926mm rainfall since January 1 this year against 680mm normal rainfall.
Of the 90 reservoirs in the state, 58 has more than 50% storage.
“All necessary prevention steps have been taken to effectively deal with disasters that occur during the rainy season.
The state is ready to face disasters,” said Minister.
The meteorological department has predicted very heavy rainfall in most districts in the next 24 hours because of the low pressure area above the place and the environment.
The minister said the country had prepared first respondents for rescue and assistance work, distributing 21,000 VHF equipment, 600 satellite phones and 296 navtic and navic messages for fishermen and opened 121 aid centers and 5,106.
The necessary instructions have been issued for district collectors to distribute assistance to people affected by rain without delay, providing adequate facilities in assistance centers and ensuring uninterrupted important commodity supplies.
The public can reach an emergency emergency operation center in the state and district on top of 1070 and 1077 pulse helloures.
Additional staff have been wailed to these centers.
The public can also prefer complaints through the TNSMart web portal or the WhatsApp 9445869848 number.
The volunteer coordination center has also been established in each district to ensure volunteer participation in disaster management.
Ramachandran said that 83,319 storm waterways running for around 14,754.63 km had been common to facilitate rainwater flow after instructions from the minister’s chairman.
