TN reported 2,652 new covid cases, 36 deaths

Chennai: Fresh Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu continued to fall on Monday, when the country reported 2,652 new cases and 36 deaths.
This encouraged the calculation of cumulative cases to 25.21 lakh and the death toll became 33,454.
After issuing 3,104 people from the registry state, Tamil Nadu had 31,819 people who were still undergoing treatment for viral infections.
While all districts in this country reported less than 300 new cases, only eight of them reported in three digits and 22 districts reported cases below 50.
Coimbatore reported 290 cases followed by the 193 case in 193.
The PERAMP was reported 12 cases, Tirunelveli reported 16 and Tenkasi reported 17.
Among the cities, Chennai reported 165 cases, Trichy had 103 and Madurai reported 33.
With a reduction in cases, the number of black mushroom cases reported every day has also decreased.
So far, TN has recorded 3,929 black mushroom cases.
“While most people who were received early had recovered 122 people died of this fungal infection,” said Minister of Health MA Subramanian.
Of the 36 deaths in the state, Chennai reported six deaths followed by four in Thanjavur, three in Tiruvallur and two in Trichy.
Twenty districts in the state did not report death.
