Chennai: After almost 20 years of legal battles, the Tamil Nadu government on Saturday reclaimed the Government of Government 91-Acre worth Rs 2,000 Crore spread by the Trust of Jeppiarar Education in Semminal on Jalan Mahabalipuram Old (OMR).
“Jeppiaar’s education trust has penetrated the Government of Government 91 Acre for the past 20 years.
After a long legal battle in various courts, including the High Court, the Chengalpet District Court gave a verdict that supported the government,” said Revenue Minister KKSR Ramachandran to reporters after examining reclaimed land Together with Minister of Health MA Subramanian.
