Chennai: almost 46 years after a police sub-inspector, now retires, leaving a woman in seven months of marriage, the victim managed to get FIR who enrolled against him through a court order on Friday.
The victim was 65 now and was accused of retirement as a special sub-inspector.
Their daughter, who is 42 years old now, is a mother of two children.
Vijayabalan has been ordered below section 294 (b) (abusing), 494 (remarriage when the wife is still alive) and 509 (insult to the simplicity of women) IPC and when contacted, the police said the hunt was launched for Vijayabalan since then its existence is unknown.
Police said the victim married Vijayabalan in 1975.
While the couple lived in various parts of the city for the next seven months, Vijayabalan was allegedly threw it away when he was pregnant.
He claimed he would go to Hyderabad to find a job but did not return.
A decade later, the woman, who raised her 10-year-old daughter alone, knew that Vijayabalan joined the police department and married another woman.
He is looking for police action.
However, Vijayabalan allegedly said he was not the girl.
In 2010, the victim’s daughter moved to court.
The DNA test results found Vijayabalan was a biological father of the victim’s daughter.
Because the victim filed a new complaint, a registered case.
