Chennai: After learning online for the past 19 months, students who are younger than the country, study in class I to VIII, will return to school on Monday.

Sripriya Raj, another old man from Colathur, said his daughter was looking forward to his friends and teachers after a long gap.
“Even though our daughter was excited to return to school, I was hesitant to send her to the physical class because she might get an infection,” he said.
Some teachers plan to welcome students with candy, chocolate, and balloons to physical classes.
“Our teacher will greet students with flowers, candy, biscuits, and pencil bags,” said MM Ramalakshmi, head of the presidency of the Girls Girls higher at Egmore.
School plans to reopen for class III, IV, V and VII on Mondays and class I, II and VIII on Tuesday to maintain a distance.
The CBSE school also plans to restart the physical class for younger classes on November 1.
