TN schools open the door to students after 19 months

Chennai: After learning online for the past 19 months, students who are younger than the country, study in class I to VIII, will return to school on Monday.
With this, all Crore Students learn from class I to XII in Tamil Nadu were allowed to return to school for the first time since March 2020.
The Ministry of Basic Education has asked for school to do stories, draw and other creative sessions for the first two weeks to make it easier for children Children return to the academic environment.
The school has compiled their own way to divide the strength of students into two and do physical classes on alternative days.
The parents who spoke to Ti said their children were eager to return to school after 19 months from Monday.
Leeba, the parents of Tambaram, said his son Andrew Thomas, a class VIII student, was eager to return to school and make his school bag and shoes ready a day in advance.
Sripriya Raj, another old man from Colathur, said his daughter was looking forward to his friends and teachers after a long gap.
“Even though our daughter was excited to return to school, I was hesitant to send her to the physical class because she might get an infection,” he said.
Some teachers plan to welcome students with candy, chocolate, and balloons to physical classes.
“Our teacher will greet students with flowers, candy, biscuits, and pencil bags,” said MM Ramalakshmi, head of the presidency of the Girls Girls higher at Egmore.
School plans to reopen for class III, IV, V and VII on Mondays and class I, II and VIII on Tuesday to maintain a distance.
The CBSE school also plans to restart the physical class for younger classes on November 1.
“We want to reopen gradually,” said K Manoharan, SBOA principal and junior college in Anna Nagar.
