CHENNAI: Stress and lack of awareness are forcing apart tribal folks from becoming vaccinated for Covid-19.
Misinformation on experiments has spread like wildfire, denting the vaccination push one of the tribal community from the northern areas of the country.
There were episodes of tribal people fleeing from their villages into woods and obstructing the entrance of physicians and nurses in their villages to prevent vaccination.

Physicians and nurses working at the hilly areas said it was hard to convince tribal folks since they readily fall prey to bogus information.
“Many are fearful of vaccine because of misinformation dispersing social networking.
