Chennai: Tamil Nadu Nadu Marketing Corporation (Tasmac) scored 435 crore income during Diwali from the sale of liquor.
The overall sales of this year is a little less than last year.
In 2020, Tasmac’s revenue was 467.69 crores.

In Salem, the income is 87 crores.
The income of the Chennai region (the second last in Tamil Nadu) was 79.85 crore.
Coimbatore recorded a little income for two days.
“Usually during the festival, the people who live in Chennai went to their original places in Madurai, Trichy and Salem to celebrate the festival along with their families.
That’s why this area recorded more sales of liquor,” said a source.
It’s separate, the Madurai region has more Tasmac stores than Chennai.
Madurai has more than 900 stores compared to 882 Tasmac outlets in Chennai.
