TN: The baby’s body is excavated after complaints from father’s file

MADURAI: Police Melavalavu has dug the body of a 17-day-old boy who was killed in a state of unexplained, after his father raised suspicion about his death and filed a complaint.
Sakakthi Boothshamangalam Colony said that the body was buried without telling the police and seeking an investigation into death.
In his complaint, he stated that he married a woman from Sekipatti five years ago.
In 2019, he went abroad to work to support his family, leaving his wife at his parents’ house.
He returned on October 15, 2020 and took his wife to his house at 1.
He said the woman gave birth to a baby boy in the fourth week of June.
Pouring out his wife’s loyalty, Sakthi has taken a fight with him since then.
After the child was born, he filed doubts whether he was his biological father and wanted a DNA test to be proven.
Meanwhile, the woman and the child moved to his parents’ house after the birth of a child.
The police said that the child died on Friday night.
Even though Sakshi was told, he did not visit the house.
While the mother and grandparents buried the body, she approached the police looking for an investigation.
A police officer said that Post Mortem was carried out on Saturday but no external injury was found.
Visceral samples have been sent to the laboratory, he said.
