TN: The remnants of the elephant frame are found with lost ivory

Coimbatore: The remnants of the 30-year-old men’s elephant framework are found in the Bulluvampatti forest range on Sunday.
When two ivory elephants lost, the Ministry of Forestry has formed a special team to arrest people who steal ivory.

TK District Forest Officer Ashok Kumar said that elephants might die at least 40 days ago in the reserve forest.
“Unknown people have removed the ivory of the elephant carcass.
The elephant does not boil.
Usually, pothakar hunters use ax to cut and remove ivory.
But rowdy is expelled from the carcass.
We have formed a team to catch people who stole ivory,” said Ashok Kumar.
The Ministry of Forestry registered a case under wildlife protection law.
