Udhagamandalam: A 49-year-old man was killed by tigers in the area in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiris district, said the Department of Forest official on Monday.
The body was noticed by the forest staff this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Kunjikrishnan, a resident of Muduguli Village.
Senior forest officials and veterinarians visited the place and initial investigation he died after he was attacked by tigers, they said.
