TN univs to Maintain online Examinations from June 14

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu state universities can run an internet examination for all students beginning June 14. The re-exam for pupils who composed an online examination in February and normal examination for technology students studying in semesters will be run by June 14 to July 30. “All universities except Anna University will run semester and arrear examinations from June 15 to July 15. The examination results will be published until July 30,” a release from the state authorities said on Monday. According to the launch, greater education minister Ponmudi ran a meeting with vice-chancellors of universities during video-conference. From the assembly, the V-Cs chose to postpone the internet semester examinations intended to run from May 25 because of Covid-19. Adhering to the complaints of failures at the proctored online exam, the state authorities requested the Anna University to run re-exam for 3 hours in different universities and those examinations will be unsupervised assessments. The enrollment for re-exam for pupils who did not look for the February examinations began on Monday. “Pupils who have appeared for the examination shouldn’t pay the assessment fees. The assessments for 2017 and 2013 regulations pupils will be run by June 14 to July 14. For pupils who look for examinations prior to 2013 regulations, the examinations are scheduled to be held by June 21 to July 30,” the release stated. Resources in Anna University explained the program is for the two re-exam and normal exam pupils. “Except for first year students, the normal semester examinations will be conducted for all pupils. Last year students will finish their exams in the first,” a source said.
