Chennai: After more than a decade, Tamil Nadu will go to elections to choose representatives for various posts in urban local agencies on February 19.

Palanikumar said in Chennai that voting will begin at 7am and end at 6pm on February 19.
Voters with Covid-19 infection or Covid-19-like symptoms can use their franchise in the last hour.

The Commission will take the vote count from 8am on February 22 and stated the results on the same day.
Submission of nomination papers will begin at 10 am on January 28.
The nomination will be closed on February 4 and supervision will be taken in February 5.
Candidates can withdraw nominated papers on or before February 7.
The poll process will be completed on February 24.
And newly elected members will consume costs and hold their first meeting on March 2.
Board members in the company, the city of Panchayats will be chosen directly while the mayor and deputy mayor at the company and chairman and vice chairman in the municipality and the chosen Panchayats indirectly.
The Commission will hold indirect elections on March 4.
