Tuticorin: A young man killed a 65-year-old man in Tuticorin District Tamil Nadu on Sunday after the last one refused to give him a call to make a call.
The murdered man has been identified as I Nagapatiram from Udaiyadiyur near a peropulam.
Police Sawyerpuram enrolled a murder case and arrested the Thangaraj alias Thangam, 20, from Combankanpottal near Sawyerpuram.
Nagapatiram was found dead with an injury at Odai Palam on Jalan Nataathi – Meenatchipatti on Sunday.
Police Supervisors (SP) for the Tuticorin District, Jeyakumar conducted an initial investigation and formed a team to capture unknown charges.
As long as the question, the police saw Thangam roam around the crime where a suspicious reason and pick him up to be questioned.
“Nagapatiram had searched for his cow when Thangam asked the victim to give him a cellphone to call, but the victim refused to give it,” SP said.
An argument broke out between the two, and Thangam attacked Nagapatiram with machetes and killed him.
Thangam took the victim’s cellphone.
