Chennai: More than 61,000 candidates have been implemented online for acceptance of government art and science of Tamil Nadu (tngasa) on the first day.
Candidates can register online for 1.06 lakh chairs in 143 arts and science colleges in the state until August 10.
Last year, around three lakh applications were received for 90,000 seats.
The source said the number of applications would be more this year with more students cleaning class XII.
All 8.16 Lakh candidates appear for class XII stated pass based on the Baleras system.
