Lucknow: The upper government said on Tuesday it would evaluate the request of the CBI to question three senior officers from the country cadres, two of them currently lead as Secretary of the United States, as part of the Scam PF Crore RS 2,267-Crore at Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd.
The government has three months to decide on purchasing agencies for permission to question Agriculture Secretary Union Sanjay Aggarwal, Secretary of Union Alok Kumar and Secretary of State for Medical Welfare, Welfare of CBI Aparna.
In Lucknow said the rules set earlier permits from the state to investigate civil servants under section 17a of the prevention of corruption laws.
The CBI has registered FIR on March 5, 2020, against Pravin Kumar Gupta, a former secretary of the superiority of the state of the power sector, and Sudhanshu Dwivedi, a former Finance Director at the Corporation Power, accused them of criminal violations, cheating and forgery.
PF contributions by corporate employees have been invested in nationalized bank deposits until October 2016.
Based on the proposal by Gupta and former Director of Corporation Corporation Ap Mishra, some money invested in PNB housing starting in December 2016, according to officials.
Then it happened that the corporation was thought to sink more than Rs 4,100 Crore at the Housing Finance Board Ltd.
(DHFL), which returned Rs 1,855 Crore.
Probe revealed that PF contributions worth Rs 2,267.9 Crore by more than just lakh employees were stuck in DHFL.
The accusation is that some corporate officials conspire to get the organizers stored in the DHFL scheme violating the rules.
Agggarwal is the chairman of the corporation from 2013 to 2017 and part of the committee that made the decision to invest in DHFL.
Alok Kumar is chairman of 2017 to 2019 and Aparna Implementing Director of 2017 to 2019.
The investigation is being handled by Wing’s economic violations from the police before being transferred to the CBI.
The agency began his investigation on the first day registered at the Hazratganj Lucknow Police Station.
More than half a dozen people, including a M Mishra, the last MD of the corporation, was arrested in this case.
