Noida: Facing a series of cases before various forums above and other parts of the country, Noida authorities have decided to tie law firms to handle legal challenges.
Authority on Friday initiated the process to employ law firms to meet the acute shortages of in-house legal experts.
Although the legal part of the authority has a total of 26 employees, including contractual workers, only six posted as legal officers and appointed to give opinions about legal issues.
Adding problems, the official legal counsel of Angad Prasad’s authority was transferred as the main judge of the family court in Gautam Budh Nagar on April 7 this year.
At present, additional CEO Praveen Mishra leads in its place.
Explain the reason for outsourcing the work of one of the most important divisions, an official authority told Tii, “At present, we are involved in more than 4,000 cases delayed before various courts and courts.
Plus every day, new cases and petitions are submitted against authority.

“Legal company work is to add internal team of authority such as preparation, representation and everyday arguments.
The company will also represent the authority to stand before a court, court, legal entity, quasi or arbitrator judicial authority, according to officials.
Other officials show that matters relating to the national company law court are members of the in-house team that are very complicated and limited to have the expertise to deal with it.
“Also verification of land documents and a record of large-scale mutations will be carried out as soon as we start working on the acquisition of land in 80 villages to develop new noida,” he said.
When contacted, Mishra’s additional CEO said, “We have invited legal companies to send their proposals and quotes.
Their technical and legal expertise will be evaluated before we choose the agency.”
