To review the online receipt process

Mumbai: With 5,191 students leave without seats at a junior college after completing this year’s online process, the State School Ministry of Education has now decided to review the system.
The department will also look for suggestions from stakeholders and will carry out comparative analysis of online and offline processes.
While the Office of Deputy Director of School Education delivered the school and students because they did not fill the right choice in the form, students claimed that they would get a chair secured in the desired college if the process was offline.
An official from the Office Deputy Director said, “Students have not filled up the right choice in their form of options.
This year, we increase choices from a minimum of five to 35 colleges.
They also have the option to fill in the names of colleges in Mumbai Metropolitan region, Zone, and their ward.
However, students chose the universities based on their services.
“The department also blames the school because it does not provide the right instructions to students.
However, students claim that the process is complicated.
Rajesh Salian, a student, said, “I have filled out the form with instructions from the guidance center.
I scored 78% but haven’t passed any college.
How can I not be placed in one of the 35 colleges I choose? There is a college Who has their cut-off in the 70s, but I still haven’t got a seat.
“The principal, was also not happy with this year’s process.
“Some students who scored in the 90s were implementing offline to our college.
Cut-off is higher than for online processes.
Students cancel acceptance elsewhere and register to the initial college in the offline process next year and so on..
College will be able to complete the process within 15 days, “said Kirti Narain, Principal Jai Hind College, Churchgate.
Ta Shiware, Principal of the Hinduja College KPB, Charni Road, who is also the Chair of the Non-Government Principal Association, said, “The department must make an offline process from next year.
Universities are able to do so.
The government should not spend time and money on the online process.
“Shiware added that college has 281 seats in the assisted part and received 375 applications when cut-off for that section increased from 78 (online) up to 82% (offline).
For 76 seats in Unaided, colleges receive 693 applications and cut-offs up from 70.8% to 82.6%.
Although the education department believes that the system is not wrong, he claims that the process takes time.
School Education Secretary, Sumit Mullick, said, “Deputy Director’s office is burdened with an online process.
It also postponed the academic session.
We will conduct a comparative study from the online and offline reception process and will see if it can be improved.
We will take advice from all stakes Interest.
“Even though Mullick did not say that the department would get rid of the online process from next year, he promised that the reception process would be made smoother.
Times seeing online systems introduced to make the process of transparent acceptance and reduce the time and money spent by parents and students in collecting forms from various universities.
But the system seems to have put students through more stress; More than 5000 students without seats and thousands of people were not happy with their college enough pointer.
The state government has, once again, blames the school and students because they do not fill out the form correctly.
But it cannot free yourself from the responsibility of this mess; It should ensure the right training and guidelines for students and schools.
The government must know that the Buck stops in the door when it comes to a sensitive problem with the children’s entrance ticket.
