ThiruvananThapuram: Actor Tovino Thomas will flag Electric Vehicle (EV) Rally ‘Haritha Yathra’ organized by the State Energy Management Center as part of their energy conservation campaign on Saturday at 2:30 a.m.
at the Kerala University campus in Pallayam here.
The event was held in connection with the 75th anniversary of Indian independence.
Rally, raised the slogan ‘Let’s change to an electric vehicle’, will continue through Kanakkunnu, Kowdiar, Pattom, PMG, Thampanoor, Fort and Statue and will conclude at the Central Stadium.
Various types of electric vehicles, including scooters, automatic rickshaws and cars will be part of the rally, which is held to spread awareness of the benefits of EV among the people.
Rally participants will also be ordered during the Valistic Ceremony.
Mlaas KadakamPally Surendran and VK Prasanth, Chair of the Chacktha Youth Commissioner Jerome, Secretary of the Chief Secretary (Strength) of Rajesh Kumar Sinha, KSEBatian Chairman of the State Energy Management Center R Haikumar, Head of Electric Inspector VC Anilkumar and Director Anert Nath Seluri will attend the ceremony flag off.
