Toddlers provide wrong injection; dead

Mumbai: A violation has been registered in three employees and city-based hospital owners after a toddler died because he allegedly gave the wrong infection by the sweeper in the establishment, the police said on Thursday.
Police Shivaji Nagar on Wednesday registered firmly against doctors, nurses, sweepers and noor hospital owners in Govandi’s Publetan, said an official.
According to the police, a two-year-old boy was hospitalized on January 8, because he suffered a loose movement.
An 18-year-old sweeper in the hospital allegedly gave an injection to a toddler, which was intended for a malaria patient received in the same ward, the official said.
The child died on January 13, after his family who tried to damage the hospital, he said, adding that the child’s body was sent for post-mortem.
Based on the complaint submitted by the boy’s father and a medical report, a pine was registered with Dr.
Altaf Khan, Nurse Salimunnisa Khan (21), Nargis sweeper and hospital owner Naseeruddin Sayyed (63) under section 304-a (causing death (causing death ) And other relevant provisions from the IPC, he said.
