Together with’Sholay’ Dialog, Mamata asks CMs to Shoot on Centre

KOLKATA: Jo darte hain, wo marte hain (Death is certain when you operate fearful ) — Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday remembered the epic conversation from 70s blockbuster’Sholay’ to exhort all resistance CMs from the nation to increase their voice without any fear of an”autocratic Centre.
” She held a dire warning if she stated that the Narendra Modi-led Union administration could, 1 day,”regret” its efforts to bulldoze federalism.
“We aren’t scared with their dangers.
Bengal hasn’t learnt to shed.
We’ll always walk together with our head held high,” she explained.
Mamata alleged that the Centre has been seeking to”divert attention” of their individuals, having neglected the nation on many fronts — handling Covid, quitting the market out of faltering and preventing agricultural distress.
“I think resistance chief ministers ought to come together and improve their voice.
Not all countries may heed them.
There has ever been that a Lakshman rekha involving the Centre and the nations.
Jawaharlal Nehru and B R Ambedkar had worried on it.
It had been laid from the Sarkaria Commission and after declared by the Supreme Courtin June.
There’s a consultative procedure,” explained Mamata.
“.
.
.
they issued back letters, with no justification or rationale.
You couldn’t provide justice, and you’re performing additional injustice by copying the bureaucracy.
.
.
They cannot prevent us from fighting against,” she added.
Mamata was speaking to the controversy brought on by the fundamental deputation arrangement on Alapan Bandyopadhyay, who hailed since Bengal principal secretary on Monday and decided to not accept that the deputation, and also the three-month expansion given to him from the Centre only weeks ago.
“That can be an act of political vendetta.
I’ve not seen such a mysterious and callous Prime Minister and home minister.
They are currently targeting Mamata Banerjee’s principal secretary and officials to strike her.
Federalism was undermined, there hasn’t been any consultative procedure.
Along with Monday’s correspondence adds insult to injury.
.
.
.
I wonder that advises that the PM.
Exactly why this political vendetta? Just because you don’t enjoy Mamata Banerjee and as you’re defeated?” She explained.
Questioning Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad’s purported remark that Bandyopadhyay had”walked from a meeting”, the CM said:”Politicians point walk-outs.
Could a bureaucrat ever wander outside?” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also talked out from Banerjee’s support.
“This isn’t the perfect time to struggle with state authorities, yet to combat the coronavirus collectively,” he explained.
Earlier in the afternoon, Banerjee taken a letter to the PM.
“The unilateral’arrangement’ comes with no previous consultation in addition to the authorities of West Bengal, with no volition/option of this officer, without fulfilling some of those pre-conditions of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and other related legislation”, she wrote.
“When a primary secretary of a country can be requested to be relieved such as this, how do the decrease bureaucracy take, comply, and execute orders within their letter or soul from the state chief minister, other ministers and officials.
I assume and sincerely trust you don’t wish to hurt the national amity.
In addition, I think and sincerely trust you don’t need to ruin the morale of the All India Service officials operating in a variety of states throughout the nation,” the letter added.
