New Delhi: Saurabh Chaudhary Tokyo Olympics and Rahi Sarnobat on Wednesday received the second dose of their Covid-19 vaccine in Zagreb, Croatia, where the Indian shooting contingent was undergoing a training camp.
In addition to the duo, Deepak Kumar and coach of the Ronak Pandit gun are also inoculated on the same day.
“Tokyo Bound Shooters @ Schaudhary2002, @sarnobatrahi, @deepak_G_arya along with coach @Coachronak is being given a second dose of vaccines in Croatia before #TOKYOOLYMPICS,” Indian sports authority tweeted told developments.
Previously, 18 contingent members completed their second dose in the Croatian capital last month.
Chaudhary and sarnobat then received their first dose from the vaccine.
The shooters who got their second dose last month were Abhishek Verma, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Anjum Moudgil, Apurvi Chandela, Divyansh Singh Panwar, Elavenil Valarivan, Manu Bhaker, Sanjeev Rajput, Tejaswinin deskwal.
The Indian shooting contingent has participated in the ISSF World Cup in Osijek, Croatia, last month.
The previous team competed in the European Championship in the same place as part of preparation for the Tokyo match.
Chaudhary will compete at the 10m water pistol event in Tokyo, while Sarnobat will participate in the event of 25 million women’s gun.
Deepak Kumar will be a commotion at the 10m water rifle.
