Tokyo: Tokyo records the lowest number of Daily Covid-19 infections for the fourth day in a row on Saturday because the Omicron variant continues to spread quickly.
The capital has 11,227 cases of new Coronavirus, said the regional government, a day after recovery restrictions on mobility and business activities that will be carried out until February 13.
Counting cases jumped almost 2.5 times from 4,561 submitted a week earlier and higher.
Of the 9,699 cases confirmed on Friday.
Three people died of Covid-19 and 12 patients in serious conditions on Saturday, the Tokyo government also said.
Hospital bed residence levels for Coronavirus patients in Tokyo rose to 34.3%.
An increase of up to 50% will guarantee an emergency with a more severe limit, local officials said.
Osaka Prefecture announced that it had 7,375 infections on Saturday, reached a record for the second consecutive day.
