Tokyo: Indian shooters underwent their first training session in the range of shooting Asaka, felt a venue four days before the Tokyo Olympics opened here on July 23.
Shooting shows will be held at the Asaka shooting line, located in Saitama Prefecture, northwest of Tokyo, from July 24 to August 2.
Venue also organizes shooting competition at the 1964 Olympics.

During their stay in Croatia, Indian shooters participated in the European Championship in Osijek, starting May 29 to June 6, before participating in the last World Cup before the Olympics, from June 22 to July 3, in the same place.
The Indian team has eight rifles, five pistols and two skeet shooters, in addition to coaches and support staff members.
Before the Coronavirus pandemic broke out, Indian shooters consistently dominated sports, completing the top of the table in the ISSF World Cup in 2019.
