As a teen he discovered the limelight at 2010, winning Junior World Championships gold and a bronze in the Youth Olympics prior to devoting a senior-level gold in the Games.
He also added a bronze in the senior World Championships in 2011, also represented India in the Olympics for the first time at London in 2012.
