Tokyo: Javelin India Navdeep’s coach finished in fourth place at the Javelin Man at Tokyo Paralympics at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
Navdeep Registered Throw 38.59m, 38.33m, 39.97m, and 40.80m.
The fifth fifth and sixth Javelin India efforts were disqualified.
Pengxiang Sun China won gold after registering a 47.13m throw.
Iran Sadegh Beit won silver with a throw of 43.35 m while Wildan Nukhaili’s Wildan Nukhaili won a bronze medal with a throw of 41.39 m.
Along the way, Sun China also finally created a world record with a 47.13m throw.
Previously on that day, the Indian Shuttler Pramod Bhagat won a gold medal after beating Daniel Bethell United Kingdom with 2-0 in Singles SL3 last match here at the Yoyogi National Stadium.
Fighting in court 1, the first seeded Indians flooded the second seed Daniel Bethell in a straight set to 21-14 and 21-17 in 45 minutes.
This is the first medal in India in Badminton in Tokyo Paralympics.
On the other hand, India Shuttler Manoj Sarkar won a bronze medal after beating Daisuke Fujihara Japan at Singles Singles SL3.
Sarkar beat Fujihara 22-20, 21-13 in the Bronze medal match.
The whole match lasted 47 minutes.
