Tokyo: Ace Shot Puter Tek Tek Finished 8th in the shooting of the Final Putra Sitting (F55) in Tokyo Paralympics which is ongoing here at the National Stadium on Friday.
Tek Chand manages the best of 9.04m on the night which just doesn’t get to the sign to land Indians in the medal position.
Wallace Santos of Brazil destroyed the F55 world record with a 12.63 M throw to catch gold.
Ruzhdi Bulgaria secured silver with a 12.23m throw.
Lech Stoltman Poland did as well as possible 12.15 (twice) to capture bronze.
Sergei Sokulskii The Russian Paralympic Committee also destroyed the previous world record from the F54 class with a 12.06m throw.
Tek Chand India has just managed two legitimate efforts from his 6 because he could not cross his best in 9.57 million in the event.
He finished with the best season of 9.04m.
