The prestigious Cannes Film Festival peaked on Saturday with French director Julia Ducournau ‘Titane’ won the most prestigious award from the Festival – Pale d’Or.
The 74th edition of the pending film festival due to the Pandemic Covid-19, has as many as 24 films from all over the world made their debut at the event.
From ‘Titane’ wild to Marion Cotillard and Adam driver ‘Annette’, Astghar Farhadi suspended the drama ‘A Hero’ to Wes Anderson’s Open for reporters with ‘The French Dispatch’, this year was packed with variations.

Titane – Palme d’or Winner
The French and Belgian films directed by Julia Ducournau told the story of a young murderer who pampered himself in sexual activity with cars after surviving a traumatic car accident in his childhood which made him with titanium plates on his head.
Dubbed the ‘genius and madness’ by Spike Lee Director, the most talking scene at the festival was the main protagonist infused by Cadillac.
Palme d’or Win made Ducournau only a second woman filmmaker to win the honor of the festival in a 74-year history.
Murina – D’Or Winner Camera
Antoneta Address Kusiijanovic ‘Murina’ is the story that comes from Croatia about a young woman who negotiates her interest in foreigners who come on their remote island.
A Hero – Grand Prix Winner
Tipped to decorate Iranian filmmakers Asghar Farhadi third tickets to Glory Oscar, ‘a hero’ is a social drama about ethics and integrity because it follows the story of a man who presents prison for unpaid debts.
However, things were surprising when he found a bag full of money.

Leos Carax brought home the best director award for Musical ‘Annette’.
Films that opened the Festival followed the tragic story of a celebrity couple played by Adam driver and Marion Cotillard, whose career created a crack in their relationship.
Worst people in the world – the best actress winner
The Norwegian star Renate Reinsve climbed the best actress award for a luminous turn in the ‘worst person in the world’.
The film follows a young woman who judge himself hard because he cannot decide between lovers, career path and whether he wants to raise his family.
Nitram – Best Actor Winner
‘Nitram’, directed by Justin Kurzel and starred in Caleb Landry Jones described a portrait of unconventional mass murder because of tracking mental disintegration from Australia’s famous bulk killer.
Inspired by the true story of a Australian man, Martin Bryant who killed 35 people and injured several other people in Port Arthur Massacre, he won the best actor award.
Memoria – Jury Prize Winner
Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s ‘memoria’ starring the Tilda Swinton who won a jury prize was about a Scottish woman who began to see a strange nocturnal voice while she visited her sister in Colombia.
Weerasethakul stated that the inspiration behind this film was largely based on the worries of the port and their wild imagination.
Weerasethakul shared his appreciation with a lapid ‘Ahed’s knee’ which was also bound to a special jury.
Drive my car – the best scenario winner
Japanese Director Ryusuke Hamaguchi was awarded the best scenario for the three-hour adaptation from ‘driving my car Haruki Murakami, who found a new depth in a short story of 40 pages of the author.
